My Writings. My Thoughts.
One down..
// March 31st, 2008 // No Comments » // Just Blogging, Life, Play
I’ve got all I could find up from one site and I’ve emailed Auric who owns the database over at Ianstorm so I can try and get my reviews, etc from there. In my previous life as a reviewer and all around news guy, I posted a lot of stuff, mostly news related articles. I really enjoyed doing it along with all the industry events I got to attend. Man those were the days.
Keep on keeping on

The onslaught continues as I keep adding more stuff to my site. I’ve been in the mode of capturing my past before it all disappears on the web as well as adding a bit of my past that very few people have had a chance to see. A little truth in advertising I guess. I really want to work on my About page and add pics and other stuff. I feel like i’m going into scrapbook mode on some of this. I hope I continue adding a bit each day. One can only hope.

Slow Sunday
// March 30th, 2008 // No Comments » // DVD, Entertainment
So I actually rented a couple of movies on friday with the intention of watching them before they were due back today. I watched The Mist friday evening. The ending was a kicker and it was generally a pretty good movie. I guess I should have just rented one as I’ll probably owe some late fees. I’m currently watching Hitman so I can make a quick run to Blockbuster. So far, it’s not as bad as I previously feared.

Post Haste

At work yesterday Rob reminded me that I had a website. He also said I needed to start posting more. It was more like “Yo, homes, you need to post on your blog more. You boring!” Technically he’s right on both counts. Its not like I don’t have a million thoughts going through my head, its more like 1. I’m too lazy to sort them all out. 2. I’m pretty much self contained in that I like to keep stuff internal.
It’s mostly cause of number one with heavy emphasis on the lazy part. So thanks Rob! Oh and if you haven’t had the chance, check out his motocross crash compilation. Not only does it have some wicked crashes, the music pretty much kicks ass cause its so different from what you usually get with these types of videos (Read: Death Metal).
On the road again
// December 7th, 2007 // No Comments » // Just Blogging
I’m headed to Denver to check out the Denver/KC game and hang out with my old roommate Tony. The tickets are courtesy of Paul Smith, a friend of Tony’s from El Paso. It’s gonna be crazy cold but i should be ok at the game hopefully thanks to REI, but we shall see.
I’ve been hot and cold about purchasing a camcorder and have had a eye on the Canon HV20 since it seems to be one of the better HD cams at an affordable level so a trip out of town was the perfect opprotunity to pick one up. I’ll be checking it out this weekend, hopefully with good results.
Funny online review…Tabula Rasa
// November 16th, 2007 // No Comments » // Entertainment, Gaming, SciFi
Zero Punctuation posted their review of Tabula Rasa a game i’m currently playing around with.
This has to be one of the more humorus reviews out on the web. I laughed my ass off watching it. =)
