Change is good!

Although not perfect, this theme is a vast improvement over the one I had. It’s still not what I wanted as I’d like one with a variable width to expand or contract depending on browser/monitor size like the old one before the horror that was my last theme.
Placeholders Suck

I hate this theme. I’m looking for a good 3 column theme wthats expandable (ie expands contracts depending on size of browser. Call me old fashioned but most of the “themes” I look at just suck which is one reason I was thinking of switching tools. Still I don’t blog enough to justify a switch. =)

So, i’ve been delving alot into the web. I setup a few new websites for fun and profit and i’m cleaning up on adsense (lol). I have Warcraft News which pulls news around the web on Warcraft. I also have WoW Mobile and WoW Cybershop which are allow me to do updates, etc on mobile phones and provide info on the latest WoW related collectables for purchase on EBay. Just a few things i’m playing around with for the moment. We’ll see how it goes.
Quiet around here

Not much going on. I’ve been hanging around the house (and I’m an admitted homebody) trying to stay warm from the unusual cold spell we’ve been having. I’ve also been playing a new MMO called Vanguard that’s frustrating and fun at the same time. Frustrating because its buggy as hell, will usually crash at inopportune times and has a myriad of other problems, especially if you don’t have a decently powered machine to play. Fun because the game offers you a number of different options such as crafting, diplomacy, and adventuring so you have a number of things you can do. Don’t feel like grinding out an adventuring level? Go work on diplomacy and see if you can affect a village or town with your skills. Tired of diplomacy? Go craft up some items on 1 of 3 different continents, each with there own style and economy. So as stated before its fun but frustrating. In addition the game has the ability to blog key highlights of your character and you can add portraits and blog shots of your own. Here’s my character in the game.
Besides being a homebody, i’ve been crazy lazy with my eating habits and workouts so i’ve started to try and improve it this week. That combined with some small workouts will lead to more improvements so I can get back in shape some. We’ll see how it goes. Later!

I guess hell had to freeze over before I posted again. Snow in Austin is close enough! I’ve been stuck at home the last two days and Wednesday will probably be another work from home day as well, due to a very good chance of even more bad weather upcoming tonight. Anyway enough for now, more later.
Enjoy the pics I posted.
Photos from the edge

I’ve finally added some photos from my trip on Flickr. To see them just click on the ‘More Photos’ option to the right. I didn’t really get a lot of shots of the city itself but since I will probably be back at some point i’ll try to do better. I took a lot of pictures before the trip (packing etc) and I may put those up later just for fun.

Hello from Bogota! I’m having a blast here, hanging out with some friends and making new ones. We’ve been to some hot spots around the city and i’ve met some really nice, interesting women during my short time here as well. I’m going to continue to explore, hopefully take some pictures that shows I was actually here, and continue to have fun with friends and new acquaintances along the way.
P.S. – The weathers great!!!!
I’m in Raleigh!
// October 5th, 2006 // No Comments » // Just Blogging
Actually, I’m stuck in the Raleigh airport waiting for a flight back to Austin that’s been delayed until 6:20 EST. It’s only an hour late because a flight from New York carrying the pilots is delayed. It’s been a long week. I was here to meet with a customer but the account manager was being a dick so I adjusted over to another customer that was in the area. On the flip side I had a set of really good meetings with the folks I manage here and topped it off with a award for one of them in front of his peers. I also had a good time hanging with the management team here so I consider the trip overall a success. I am really tired and ready to get home though, plus I ate like crap so it should be interesting when I hit the scale.
I also may be on the verge of a nice vacation trip out of the U.S. so i’m excited trying to get all the pieces put together. Anyway, i’m gonna surf a few gaming sites and sync up my Ipod so I have something to listen to on the way home. Later!
Texas Loses 24-7 =(

But on the positive side, my first go at queso was a hit. I’m tired, its been a long day and the loss stung because the team looked flat. I’ve ate a ton of crap today so will have to be super good over the next two days (and that includes at least two sessions of cardio each day!). I’m calling it a night.
Texas vs Ohio State!
// September 9th, 2006 // 1 Comment » // Just Blogging
Today is gameday here in Austin. They play Ohio State tonight at 7 pm and i’ve invited a few football friends over to check out the game. Should be a good time. I’ve been lazy about updating but I do have some pictues to post on some changes I’ve made to the house, etc. Plus there’s tons more I want to add to the site along with finishing out my about page. So, short update for now, hopefully more later. Good enough?
